    • Two wrecks in two days result in only minor injuries to one

    • A one-vehicle roll over accident Monday, June 11 caused no injury to driver Elisabeth Mohler of Sawyer. Mohler was west bound on SE 100th Street and a half mile east of First Street in a 1994 Dodge Dakota pickup when she was distracted by something in the vehicle, lost control, over corrected and slid sideways into the south ditch and rolled over a half time to the top of the pickup. On Tuesday, June 12 at First and Curtis in Pratt, Liam Kahmeyer, 16 of Pratt, was west bound on First Street driving a 2004 Chevy Colorado when he failed to see a 2012 Silverado, driven by Devin Hacker, 18 of Coats, stopped on the street waiting for traffic to clear. The Colorado rear ended the Silverado causing extensive damage to the Colorado. Hacker, Kahmeyer and Kahmeyer's passenger Trae Foreman were not injured. Kahmeyer's other passenger Christian Kurz was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.
