- RAAM passes through Pratt
- Posted June 22, 2012 midnight
- World class bicycle riders from around the world made their way through Pratt as they participated in Race Across America, a 2,993 mile bicycle race from Ocean Side, Calif. to Annapolis, Md. The Pratt Walmart is Time Station No. 26. Some riders chose to stop and rest while others continued on their journey. Support crews for the riders check in at each time station for solo riders and the two-person, four-person and eight-person teams. The lead riders completed the race Thursday with the fastest solo rider, Reto Schoch of Switzerland on pace to complete the race in eight days and a few hours. The fastest team, Team ViaSat, should finish the course in just over five days and four hours.
