- Cancer survivors take the field at Relay for Life
- Posted Aug. 7, 2012 midnight
- Dozens of cancer survivors took the first lap of the Relay for Life at Skyline on Friday, Aug. 3. Teams then began the evening of walking the track to raise money for cancer research. Space Madness provided music for the walkers while games helped pass the time. Bad weather, including lightning, cut the relay short just after the reading of the luminaries was complete. The event grossed over $42,000.
