    • Arrowhead West hosts Push America

    • Pratt and Arrowhead West played host to Push America’s “Journey of Hope” that consists of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity members from all over the United States that ride bicycles across the county to raise money and awareness for people with all kinds of disabilities. Push America had a friendship visit with Arrowhead West clients at the Pratt Teen Center where they enjoyed a meal of fried chicken and then played games and sand Karaoke. Push America was later treated to another meal courtesy of the Ninnescah Valley Archery Club followed by some archery at the club. The Pratt group was one of three groups of riders that leave from three different starting points on the west coast and all meet in Washington D.C. on Aug. 10. The group that went through Pratt had 19 riders and eight crew members. They started in Seattle, Wash. on June 1 and will travel 4,000 miles on their journey. Each rider has to raise at least $5,500 to participate. Journey of Hope and their corporate sponsors will raise more than $500,000 for people with disabilities.
