Irvin "Stub" Messer died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at South Wind Hospice in Pratt. He was born Dec. 3, 1923 in Bradgate, Iowa, the son of Isaac and Karen (Christensen) Messer.Stub served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pratt. He was a pharmacist and owned and operated Messer Drug in Pratt.

Cleola Griffie, 71, passed away Sunday Dec. 21, 2014. Celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27th with visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday both at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
