Suzette “Suzie” Elaine Fetterman, 61, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.


Suzette “Suzie” Elaine Fetterman, 61, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita. 
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Turon Community Center with K.C. Welch Jr. and Butch Lambert presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Larrison Funeral Home, Turon.
She was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Turon, the daughter of Keith Sr. and Evelyn Kelley Welch.
A lifelong resident of Turon, she worked in the Pratt area for many years She was a member and past president of the Pratt Rotary Club, she was Rotarian of the Year for 2007-2008, a former member of the Turon Methodist Church, and participated in lots of volunteer work
She was an avid bowler and loved her bowling league friends. She never met a stranger and was always quick with a radiant smile.
On March 26, 1971, she married Rolla Fetterman in Pratt. He survives.
Other surviors include: two sons, Robin Fetterman, currently with a Department of Defense contractor “AAI” in Iraq serving the military, and Marty and wife Bridget Fetterman of Sedalia, Mo.; a daughter, Misha and Brian Middleton of St. Joseph, Mich.; a brother, K.C. Jr. and Melba Welch of Wichita; two sisters, Charlotte and Kenny Theis of Turon, and Brenda and Rex Banta of Windsor, Colo.; three  grandchildren, Cortney Middleton of Stevensville, Mich., and Jake and Emily Fetterman of Sedalia, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to the Suzie Fetterman Pratt Community College Nursing Scholarship Fund in care of the mortuary.
