Thunderbird fans can get a sneak peek at the 2008 Skyline football and volleyball teams tonight when SHS and SMS hold their annual pre-season scrimmages.


Thunderbird fans can get a sneak peek at the 2008 Skyline football and volleyball teams tonight when SHS and SMS hold their annual pre-season scrimmages.
Skyline Middle School volleyball gets things started with a scrimmage from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Their head coach is Lori Bell.
The middle school T-bird football team will take the field at 5:45 p.m. for a thirty-minute scrimmage. The team is coached by Andrew Nation.
From 5-6 p.m., Summer Younie’s Skyline High volleyball team will conduct a public scrimmage. The T-Birds begin their season Saturday at the South Barber Tournament in Kiowa.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the T-Bird Club will hold a hamburger feed.
The night concludes with the SHS football scrimmage from 7-8 p.m. Head coach Jon Novotny has eight returning players as the T-Birds prepare for a Friday, Sept. 5 season opener at 7 p.m. in Attica.
The SHS cross-country team, coached by Eric Bronson, will begin its season Thursday, Sept. 4 at Meade.
