Upon graduation from college, Stan taught band and chorus in Winfield for 12 years.
In 1976, he purchased the Wisby Art Studio in Pratt, and renamed it Stan Reimer Photography Limited.  Stan spent the next 30 years capturing important life events for families in the area. This included photographing over 1,000 weddings, and taking multi-generational senior pictures.
Several years ago, Stan sold his studio, and opened the Photography Gallery at 403 South Main, selling scenic and art prints of photos he had taken over the years. On Feb. 1, Stan re-opened a studio at 407 South Main where he will specialize in portrait and commercial photography, plus copy and restoration of old photographs. The studio will keep the name, Stan Reimer Photography Limited.
The Photography Gallery will continue to remain open.
In 2006 and 2007, Stan was recognized by his peers in a national photographic competition, earning him the distinction of being named as one of several Photographers of the Year.
Stan plans to do only a limited number of photo sessions each year.  If you are interested in booking an appointment, please call 620-933-2110.
On Thursday morning of last week, the Pratt Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors visited Stan to welcome his new studio to the business community.
