A Leoti man suffered injuries in a motorcycle versus automobile accident Thursday at 10:15 a.m. in Pratt.
Remington Smith, 21 of Leoti, was eastbound on East First Street at Doug Reh Chevrolet on a 2002 Kawasaki when Eugene Courange, 82 of Pratt and driving a 1996 Lincoln Continental, pulled out of the Doug Reh Parking lot in front of Smith.
Courange was waiting for east bound trucks to pass and did not see the motorcycle, said Pratt Police Officer Chris Chisholm.
The motorcycle hit the driver’s side front corner bumper and stopped. Both vehicles suffered minor damage. Smith was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Pratt County EMS transported Smith to Pratt Regional Medical Center. No patient condition information is available. Courange was not injured in the accident.
