For the second time this season, sophomore right fielder Zach Sell came up with the game-winning hit for the Pratt Community College baseball team.
Heading to the bottom of the ninth in yesterday’s second game against Dodge City, the Beavers and Conqs were tied at 16.
Ethan Elrod was hit by a pitch to give the Beavers a baserunner right off the bat.
Matt Burns laid down a sacrifice bunt to get Elrod into scoring position.
Sell then drove the very first pitch up the middle for a game-winning RBI single.
It was one of his two hits in the contest, and yielded Sell a fourth RBI for the afternoon as the Beavers improved to 11-14 on the season and 1-11 in Jayhawk West action.

The Conqs got a two-run home run as part of a three-run sixth inning, but the Beavers answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning.
