Pratt High senior Jordi Garrett closed the book on her high school golfing career Monday, competing at the Class 4A State golf tournament at the Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney.

Garrett shot a 102, which was not low enough for a medal among the state’s best golfers. Jacie Scheer of Cheney was the overall individual winner, shooting a 76. The final medalist at No. 25 shot a 95, meaning Garrett was seven strokes outside the medal stand.

She was the lone representative from Pratt High, which did not qualify as a team at Regionals.

Winning the team event was Andale, which competed well in many of the same tournaments Pratt competed in this season. Andale’s team score was 366 – two strokes ahead of Jefferson West’s 368.

Garrett was one of three seniors on this year’s golf team, which also included Ellie Eastes and Samantha Snell.
