The third-annual Run for Missions 100-mile fundraiser run will be held Monday, Nov. 1.

The third-annual Run for Missions 100-mile fundraiser run will be held Monday, Nov. 1.

This 100-mile run from Wichita to Haviland benefits the Run for Missions Scholarship fund, which gives money to students planning to become missionaries.

The run will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 1. The run will start at the Friends Ministry Center in Wichita and head west to Haviland on county roads.  The expected finish time is approximately 10 p.m. on Monday evening.  Updates throughout the race, including the precise finish time, will be posted to Facebook.

In addition to the 100-mile run, there will also be a 5K and 10K run in Haviland on Oct. 31 that will also benefit the Run for Missions Scholarship fund. That event will also include live entertainment, inflatables for kids and a race t-shirt with each registration.
