David “Davy” Cline, 34, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at South Wind Hospice in Pratt. He was born April 11, 1976, in Medicine Lodge, the son of David and Amber Garten Cline. A lifetime resident of Barber County, Davy was a rancher and a cowboy. He was a member of the Working Ranch Cowboy Association and the United Methodist Church in Medicine Lodge.


David “Davy” Cline, 34, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at South Wind Hospice in Pratt. He was a member of the Working Ranch Cowboy Association and the United Methodist Church in Medicine Lodge.

On July 14, 2001 he married Heather Norton in Medicine Lodge.  She survives.

Other survivors include his parents; a daughter, Caity Cline and a son Casen Cline, both of Medicine Lodge; a sister, Keri Keller, Greensburg; grandfather, Lonnie Garten, Medicine Lodge; and great-grandmother, Doris Garten, Cunningham.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Otilia Garten, and grandparents Jim and Carol Cline.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastors Dale Thiele and Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City.
