With Pratt High School’s next head football coach approved by the USD 382 Board of Education, athletic director Curtis Nightingale is ready to introduce him to the people of Pratt.

Forrest Mazey, currently the football and track coach at Atoka High School in Atoka, Okla., will be in Pratt this week to familiarize himself with his latest job location. Nightingale has coordinated a ‘Meet the Coach’ social on Tuesday night, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the PHS Commons. He will talk briefly to parents, students and fans about his coaching philosophy and expectations as he takes the reins of the Pratt High School football program.

Mazey has made a name for himself in Oklahoma primarily on offense, where his spread attack proved to be the best in the state at any classification.
