The Miss Kansas Organization announced today, following approval from the Miss America Organization, that the 2011 Miss Kansas Pageant will be telecast on the statewide Cox Communications System by way of Kansas 22.

Through in-kind sponsorships from Cox Communications, and in conjunction with Water House Productions and Niles Media Group, the Pageant final competition slated for Saturday, June 11, will be telecast Wednesday, June 15, to the 85 Kansas communities served by Kansas 22.

Since 1996, Cox Communications has invested more than $16 billion in the communities they service to deliver video, phone and high-speed Internet service to homes and businesses in the company’s service area. Cox’s annual in-kind and direct cash contributions exceed $100 million.
