A two-vehicle accident in Pratt County has taken the life of a Beaver, Okla., woman.


A two-vehicle accident in Pratt County has taken the life of a Beaver, Okla. woman.

Killed in the accident was Marla Frazer, 45 of Beaver.

The accident happened at 8:15 p.m. Friday, May 27 at the intersection of K-61 and NE 60th Street that is 8.5 miles northeast of Pratt.

Drew Haerle, 27 of Preston, was westbound on NE 60th Street in 2004 Ford pickup when he failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection, entered K-61 in front of a 2006 Chevrolet van driven by David Frazer, 16 of Beaver, Okla., according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The right front of the pickup hit the front center of the Oklahoma van and both vehicles came to a stop in the center of the roadway.

Pratt County EMS transported Frazer to Pratt Regional Medical Center where he was later transported by helicopter to Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita where he remains in fair condition.

Frazer’s passenger Clarence Frazer, 45 of Beaver, was flown from the scene by LifeTeam helicopter to Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita where he remains in serious condition.

Both David and Clarence were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Frazer’s other passenger, Marla Frazer, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Pratt County EMS transported Haerle to Pratt Regional Medical Center. His condition was unavailable. Haerle was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
