Pratt High made a clean sweep at Nickerson on Tuesday, with the Greenback boys defeating the Panthers 53-26 and the girls outscoring the home team 50-28.

The Pratt boys scored 10 points in the first quarter to Nickerson’s 7 and led 28-10 at the half. Senior Micah Swank was the top scorer with 21 points and was eight for 12 from the floor and four for four from the free throw line.

BJ Dean contributed 14. Also getting on the scoreboard were Skylar Dean, Dylan Besser, Payson Maydew, Austin McClain and Chase Hageman. Pratt accumulated 19 fouls to Nickerson’s 17.

The girls were led by senior Aubrey Hoover, who scored 30 of the team’s 50 points. She connected on 13 of 18 from the floor, including two 3-pointers, and two of five from the charity stripe.

Amy Olson added 5, Dominique Staats 6, Whitney Tilley 4, Grace Fellhoelter 1, Haylie Hook 2 and Martha Ramos 2. The Pratt girls fouled 15 times to Nickerson’s 14.

Nickerson hit just 7 field goals in 26 attempts.
