Three accidents in Pratt County Tuesday resulted in one arrest but no injuries to the four people involved.

The first accident was reported at 6:34 a.m. as an injury accident. Eric Herrera-Balderama, 20 of St. John, was southbound on K-61in a 2011 GMC pickup when he missed the entrance to Pratt Well and ran into the fence just south of the entrance, said Pratt County Sheriff Vernon Chinn.

He was arrested for DUI, driving while suspended and giving false information at an accident. He posted a $1,000 bond and was released.

Just six minutes after the first wreck, a second wreck was reported at 6:40 a.m. on SW 10th Street one half mile west of U.S. 281.

Brooke McDermeit, 20 of Pratt, was east bound in a 2007 Ford pickup when the pickup went over a dirt ridge. McDermeit overcorrected, lost control, skidded 180 degrees into the south ditch where the pickup rolled over onto its left side.

McDermeit was not injured in the accident, Chinn said.

A third accident happened at 4:30 p.m. on West River Road just over a mile south of U.S. 54. Megan Kelling, 17 of Pratt, was southbound in a 1996 Nissan Sentra when she lost control on a washboard road, slid off the road on the west side and rolled the vehicle over on its top. Kelling and her passenger Peyton Kennedy, 17 of Pratt, were not injured in the accident, Chinn said.

All four people were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accidents.
