James Lee Brown Jr., 39, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 18, 1972, in Danville, Ill., the son of James Lee Brown Sr. and Patricia Mae (Moger) Brown.
He was a member of the Baybrook Baptist Church in Texas and was a member of the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
On March 2, 2009, he married Gina Hoffman at Friendswood, Texas. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Rylee Rhea Goodale-Brown and Shelbee Jo Goodale-Brown; two stepchildren, Heather McCurry of Langdon, and Zachary Taylor of Wichita; four step-grandchildren, Aryn, Grayci, Jayden and Connor McCurry; a sister, Michele Brown of Friendswood, Texas; and his father, James Lee Brown Sr. of Santa Fe, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Brown.
There will be no visitation. Celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
