  • The Pratt High School golf team hosted 12 other schools at their annual Invitational at Park Hills on Monday.
    The girls team finished in the middle of the pack, 7th with 235 points.
    Andale nipped Cheney 195-196 to take the team title.
    Individual champion was Maize South's Schremmer who carded a 41.
    PHS had two golfers finish in the medals. Morgan Schmidt again paced the Lady Greenbacks with a 51, good for 11th place.
    Taylar Fuhr finished the course in 54 strokes, which earned her the 16th place medal. Both girls posted their season best scores on the home turf.
    Lauren Beardsley turned in a 63 in her first varsity action. Kayla Baer, 67, and Shelby Richard, 75, rounded out the Pratt varsity.
    Playing in the JV division, Charity Violeti managed a 77.
    The Frogs linksters are back in action Thursday as they travel to Larned for another invitational.
