Of course it helped that none of the other squads had enough runners to score as a team, but it’s not the T-Birds fault they were the only ones with enough girls to qualify.
A win is a win is a win. With the meet scoring 4 girls, and Skyline having the only full team, they scored 1-2-3-4 for a perfect 10 team score.
Individual results for the Thunderbird girls:
    6 Megan Pyles 19:16
    10 Allison Sanders 19:59
    11 Katelyn Kumberg 20:09
    13 Madison Moore 20:42
    14 Patty Ibarra 20:59
    17 Abby Giles 21:19
Roman Ibarra took a third place medal in the boys race with an 18:38. He was the only Skyline boy who ran varsity.
The T-Birds travel to Larned next Thursday for their next competition.
