  • Seventeen Scouts of Troop 201 will receive their merit badges and rank badges during a Court of Honor at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Pratt, in the Scout room.
Ten youth and two adults spent from July 8-17 at San Isabel Scout Ranch, a few miles west of Colorado Springs, Colo., with other Scouts from several states. To earn their merit badges, Scouts have to meet and perform the required Boy Scouts of America criteria.
Thirty-eight badges will be awarded with 29 of them being earned during this summer camp.
Parents, relatives and friends are invited to the Court of Honor. Troop 201 is also celebrating 50 years of being chartered through the First United Methodist Church in Pratt.
