A suspect fled a Kansas Highway Patrol routine traffic stop late Thursday morning in Pratt. The suspect is still at large.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking a suspect that fled on foot from a routine traffic stop late Thursday morning in Pratt.
Trooper Ian Gray pulled over a blue 1995 Geo on County Club Road after observing a traffic violation on U.S. 54. Gray took vehicle and driver information and returned to his cruiser when the driver fled on foot.
Gray stayed with the vehicle and the passenger, Allen Roberts, 32 of Pratt, and called for assistance from Pratt Police Department and Pratt County Sheriff's Office.
The subject eluded all officers in a foot pursuit and is currently sought in the matter.
Roberts was questioned and released at the scene, Gray said.
No further information about the incident is being released at this time. The Highway Patrol investigation is on going.
