It must have seemed like deja vu all over again for the Pratt Community College Beavers volleyball team over the weekend.
Traveling to Hesston for a triangular with Northeast Oklahoma (Enid), the Lady Beavers had to have found the results to be eerily familiar.
Just last week, Pratt had dropped a heartbreaker at home to Hesston in 5 games.
This week, not only did the Lady Beavers drop another 5 set heartbreaker to the Lady Larks, they also fell in similar fashion to NE Oklahoma.
Scores of the match vs. Hesston 21-25; 22-25; 25-20; 25-23; 14-16.
Scores of the match vs. NE Oklahoma 20-25; 22-25; 25-22; 25-23; 13-15.
In both matches, the Lady Beavers dropped the first two sets, won the next two, and then fell just short in a close finale.
With the narrow defeats PCC’s record stands at 5-15 (2-5 in the Jayhawk West.) Conference play continues Wednesday as the Lady Beavers travel to Dodge.
