  • Mary Ellen Patrick, 72, died Oct. 2, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
    She was born Nov. 18, 1939, at Rover, Ark., to Ben and Lucy Short Prunty. She was a homemaker.
    On July 20, 1956, she married Marvin Clyde Patrick at Pratt. He survives.
    Other survivors include: a son, Ronald, Newton; two daughters, Diana J. Dutoit, Pratt, and Carol L. Patrick, Hays; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Prunty; and a sister, Margaret Simpson.
    A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery, with Chaplain Ron Moser officiating. Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
    Memorials may be made with the Pratt Parks Department, in care of the mortuary, 115 E. Fourth, Pratt KS 67124.
