  • Wauneta Rennaker, 86, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Pratt Care Center. She was born Sept. 18, 1926, in El Dorado, the daughter of Perry and Pansy (Hurt) Dunham.
    Wauneta was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the VFW in Pratt. She had cooked at The Servateria for 18 years.
    On March 8, 1941 she married Joseph F. Rennaker Jr. at El Dorado. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 2007.
    She is survived by a daughter, Karen Rhone and fiancé Roger Smith of Iuka; three sons, Joseph III and wife Betty of Turon, Jim of Rush Springs, Okla., and Bob of Pratt; a brother, Harold Dunham of Missouri; 18 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son Bill, and three brothers, Bill, Ted and Forrest.
    Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the mortuary, with John Hamm presiding. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt.
