Follow the yellow brick road to Skyline School for the performance of "The Wizard of Oz" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, and Friday, Nov. 9, at the school.
Vocal teacher Beth Novotny directed the musical as her first play in 1990. The students will be performing an adaptation of the classic story and movie that is well suited to the stage.
Principal actors include Madison Moore as Dorothy, Blake Lee as the Scarecrow, Ashtyn Novotny as the Cowardly Lion and Chris Lutterloah as the Tinman. They are supported by a cast of nearly 50 students in grades 3-12.
"It's really coming together," Novotny said, as rehearsal times come to an end. She's looking forward to exciting performances.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 students
