Born: Elon John Chalker

Allison Hecker and Tyler Chalker, Pratt, announce the birth of their son, Elon John, at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 20, 2012, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He is welcomed by Lauren, age 2.

Grandparents are Matt Hecker, Kathy Hecker, Selena Chalker and Bill McDonald, all of Pratt, and Dan Chalker, Wichita.

Great-grandparents are Rosie Hecker and Jacob Hecker, Barb Gaddis and Gene Gaddis, all of Topeka, Len and Judy Schell, Wisconsin, and Clyde Phelps, Pratt.
