Eleanor Louise Wilcox, 92, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her lord and savior on Dec. 6, 2012 at South Wind Hospice House in Pratt. She was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Everette, Wash., the daughter of Byron and Alta (Smith) Broadbooks.

A Pratt resident since 1962, coming from Leoti, she was a school cook for USD 382.

She was a member of the Pratt Free Methodist Church.

On June 8, 1941, she married Harold Wilcox at McPherson. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Kendall (Kathy) Wilcox, Blue Springs, Mo., Ronald (Barbara) Wilcox, Derby, and Clayton (Janet) Wilcox, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Carolyn (James) Dickson, Stafford; a brother, Ray Broadbooks, Bentonville, Ark.; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Boys.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at the mortuary, with Claude E. Griffith and Richard Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Wind Hospice, Pratt Free Methodist Church, or Central Christian College all in care of the mortuary.
