  • For the second time in a week, the Pratt Community College women’s basketball team reversed the outcome on a team that had beaten them earlier in the season. The victim on Saturday was Crowder College (MO), who felt the Lady Beavers’ wrath 86-78.
Late last month, the Crowders had knocked off PCC at the Beaver Dome 80-67, so that was a 21 point turn-around for the Beavers.
Pratt had started off the week on Monday by turning the tables on Lamar (CO). In between the two revenge wins was a defeat of Allen County, so the Lady Beavers had a very good week at 3-0.
The PCC women go into the break at 10-3. They will be off for a few weeks for finals and the holidays.
January 2 they will get their final pre-conference tune-up against the McPherson JV, then the Jayhawk season is in full swing with games against Cloud County and Seward County in the first week back.
