Jeffrey J. Lake, 46, of Olathe, passed away Dec. 26, 2012 in Wichita. He died peacefully in his sleep and in the company of his family. He was born Sept. 17, 1966 to Joseph and Diane (Baker) Lake in Pratt. Jeff attended school in Pratt, and earned numerous advanced software certifications from Microsoft and other major vendors. He worked in the information technology area with several companies over the years and most recently was a lead information technology expert with MTW Solutions of Overland Park.

The most important aspect of Jeff's life was the special relationships he had and the time he spent with family and friends. His two Jack Russell dogs were always by his side and Jeff had a special love for all animals. Jeff was an avid fan of the KU Jayhawks and also was a great supporter of the KC Chiefs and the KC Royals.

He also enjoyed being outdoors especially when hunting with his good friends. Jeff loved music and played various instruments. Jeff had a keen sense of humor and easily made his many friends laugh with his jokes and banter. He will be sorely missed by all.
