  • Ed Wiltse has resigned his position on the Pratt Community College Board of Trustees, as he has moved out of the county. Wiltse was filling the unexpired term of former Trustee Jenny Larrison.
The Board is accepting letters of intent from interested parties and will appoint a replacement following an interview and discussion process.
Letters of intent must be submitted before Jan. 18 to Clerk of the Board, PCC Board of Trustees, 348 NE S.R. 61, Pratt, KS 67124. Letters may also be e-mailed to debbieh@prattcc.edu.
A hard copy of the letter, with a signature, is preferred, according to Clerk Debbie Hearn, who recommended mailing a copy, even if the applicant had initiated the process through e-mail.
Interviews will be conducted at the Board's next meeting on Jan. 28, and depending on the number of applicants, the position could be filled that night or at a later meeting.
The newly appointed Board member could be sworn in as early as the February meeting, and will serve until 2015, when the position is scheduled for election.
