Season tickets honored, tickets also sold at the door.
The Hunt Family Fiddlers are coming to Pratt Community College's Carpenter Auditorium Friday, Feb. 1 – starting time 7 p.m. This concert is the third of this season's Pratt Community Concert Association offerings.
This award-winning family gives its audiences Irish step dancers, fiddlers and singers, Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational, country and light rock plus a diverse repertoire of original compositions.
Champion fiddling is mixed with a blend of world-ranked step dancing and vocal harmonies. Acoustic and electric guitars accompany soaring piano melodies, and the fiddling and step-dancing are world class, notes Allied Concerts, with whom PCCA contracts its concerts.
The family consists of songwriter and performer Clint Hunt, his wife, performer Sandy, along with their seven children: Jessi and Jenni (21-year-old identical twins), teenagers Josh, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin and JJ.
The Hunts have appeared from Scotland to Ireland to Canada and all over the United States. They have opened for the Virginia Symphony and performed for Queen Elizabeth during her most recent visit to the United States. They have played at performing arts centers, festivals and schools across the country.
Individual tickets will be available at the door.
