The public is invited to attend, identify triggers and develop strategies.
Everyone eats! But the foods we eat are influenced by many things, including emotions. Emotional Eating is a lesson designed to help participants identify the difference between emotional hunger and physical hunger as well as how the foods they eat affect their mood.
Participants will identify food triggers and develop strategies to address those triggers. Participants will also do a self‐assessment of their diet and physical activity habits and explore dietary and physical activity techniques for overall health.
Stafford County Extension Agent Amy Collins will present this lesson at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the Pratt County Extension Office at 824 W 1st Street. This program is open to the public and refreshments will be provided by Town and Country H.E.U.
