PCC announces golf tourney
With it being Pratt Community College’s 75th anniversary many traditions that happen throughout the year are being brought together to have a weekend of celebration.
One of those traditions that is taking place the weekend of April 12-14 is a golf tournament for the athletic department.
Each year the athletic department host two golf tournaments to raise money for the department and thought this year it would be fun to have it in conjunction with the 75 anniversary.
“We thought it would be neat for those who are inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame and alumni who come back for the weekend to come and play,” said Kurt McAfee, athletic director.
The golf tournament will be on Sunday, April 14 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The tournament will be at Park Hills Country Club. Each team should be made up of four people and will cost $200 per team. There will be a limit of 36 teams.
For more information on the golf tournament or to sign a team up contact McAfee at firstname.lastname@example.org or 620.450.2128.
