Both the baseball and softball teams from Pratt Community College split their doubleheaders toward the end of this week.
The baseball team beat Northern Oklahoma-Enid 7-1 in the opener at Stanion Field on Wednesday before falling 10-8 in the nightcap.
The Beavers are currently 12-13 on the year, 7-9 in the Jayhawk Conference. They will travel to take on Kansas Wesleyan next Wednesday April 3.
The softball team played a couple of tight contests with Cloud County Thursday at Angood Field. In the opener, Pratt lost a heartbreaker 10-7 in 11 innings. The nightcap saw PCC post a tight 10-9 victory. The Lady Beavers are now at 13-19 (8-10 in the conference.) Brown Mackie is in town next Tuesday.
