Three people escaped injury following a two-vehicle accident one mile south of Pratt Wednesday afternoon.
Cole Lombard, 24 of Larned, was southbound on U.S. 281 driving a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban when he slowed down to make a left turn onto SE 20th Street, said Kansas Highway Patrol Troop Ian Gray.
Just as he slowed down, Mark Graber, 39 of Pratt, was southbound in a 2008 Toyota Highlander and tried to pass the Suburban. Graber realized the Suburban was turning and made a sharp avoidance maneuver to the right to avoid the vehicle but hit the Suburban in the drivers side rear with the front drivers side with the Toyota, Gray said.
The collision caused the Suburban to slide across the highway, rollover once and come to a stop right side up in the ditch on the south side of SE 20th Street facing west.
The Toyota went across the highway to the west, made a u-turn across SW 20th Street and came to rest on the south side of SW 20th Street facing north.
Lombard was given a sobriety test on site but the test was negative.
Lombard, his passenger Justin Walker, 26 of Larned and Graber were all wearing seatbelts and no on was injured in the wreck that was reported at 5:22 p.m.
