Directors will be elected to represent Pratt County.
The 65th annual meeting of the Southwest Kansas Royalty Owners Association (SWKROA) will be held April 27 at the Hugoton Middle/High School Auditorium located on State Highway 51 in Hugoton. Registration and coffee will begin at 9 a.m., and the meeting will begin at 10 a.m.
Pratt County is the newest county to join SWKROA. Tom Schnittker, Pratt, one of two directors-at-large on the SWKROA Board, assisted other members from Pratt County to petition to be included within the SWKROA membership territory.
Such expansion of the territory allows Pratt County mineral, royalty and surface owners to become voting members in the Association. During the business portion of the annual meeting, Pratt County members will elect two directors from Pratt County to represent them in the Association.
If you are a current SWKROA member who owns surface, mineral or royalty interests in Pratt County and are interested in representing Pratt County on SWKROA's Board, please contact the SWKROA office at (620) 544-4333 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
