  • So far, the Pratt Community College Lady Beaver Soccer Team has seen four players from the 2012-2013 make commitments to continue their careers at four-year schools.  “This is a great honor to see players from this young Beaver program getting recognized,” said Jerrid Schicke, head PCC women’s soccer coach. “These opportunities have been welcomed by virtue of their hard work, character, and dedication to the game.”
These players include: Holly Harrod (AR), who lead the Lady Beavers in scoring this season and tied the schools record most goals in a season. Holly was also awarded Player of the Week honors for her week one Hat Trick against KCKCC.
Donna Nickolay (UK) was awarded KJCCC Honorable Mention for her efforts between the posts during the 2013 season. She recorded 5 clean sheets, which tied the school record for most career shutouts and gave her the record for most in a season.
Alyssa Farrell (KS) has 2 career goals and is Academic All-American. Lauren Randall (UK) and Gemma Whitehead (UK) recorded 10+ goals each in their careers at PCC.  Coach Schicke said, “Lauren is a tremendous leader and teammate. An Academic All-American, she has been the backbone of the team since spring 2012. And Gemma is a very skilled player.”
“After coaching these young ladies for the past couple seasons, it is hard to imagine the program without them,” Schicke continued.  “I have a special place in my heart for this particular recruiting class, which included players like Jasmine Torrente, Carolyn Singleterry, Jordan Biester, and those already mentioned. They are yet another strong block to help continue to build the foundation of this program. I wish them the best of luck in life and in soccer.”
