  • A Sexual Assault Awareness Program will be presented by the Family Crisis Center at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at Pratt Community College Carpenter Auditorium. The public is invited to attend the free program.
The program will focus on sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking.
n In Kansas, one rape is reported to law enforcement every seven hours.
n Domestic violence (battering) is a pattern of abusive and coercive behavior used to gain dominance, power and control over an intimate partner.
n Three in four stalking victims are stalked by someone they know.
The Family Crisis Center offers a 24-hour crisis line, 1-866-792-1885.
