Pratt letter carriers will participate in a campaign to help stamp out hunger on Saturday, May 11.
Patrons who receive mail service from the Pratt Post Office at their homes are encouraged to set out non-perishable food items for donation to the Pratt Christian Food Bank.
Anyone wanting to help is asked to set the food out early.
May 11 will be the 21st anniversary of the food drive. Last year, over 70 million pounds of food was collected, feeding an estimated 30 million people.
Currently 1 in 6 Americans are unsure where their next meal is coming from. The food drive is timed to restock shelves during a period when donations are typically low.
