  • 75'ers Dinner set, Miss Kansas contestants will be guests

  • The annual 75'ers Dinner will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 3 at the Pratt Municipal Building. All Pratt County residents age 75 and older are invited to attend the free dinner. No reservations are required. Spouses or caregivers under 75 may attend for $4.
    Invited guests for the third year will be the 25 Miss Kansas contestants, who will visit with 75'ers during dinner and introduce themselves after the meal. Entertainment will also be provided.
    The women of St. Paul Lutheran Church will prepare the meal and will be assisted by many volunteers for serving.
    Cakes will be awarded to several registered guests and prizes will be given by local businesses.
    The theme is "Proud to be a Kansan."
    Sharon Will heads the planning committee that includes Dorothy Furgason, Kelly Bishop, Tina Levering, Lyola Hatfield and Shelly Binder.
    The event has been made possible for 80 years by the generosity of local businesses, organizations and individuals who donate money and their services.
