Samantha Ann McGuire, Pratt, and Craig Allen Dutton, Macksville, were united in marriage Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preston. The Rev. Michael Schotte officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Marianne McGuire, Pratt, and the granddaughter of Reinhardt and Izola Jorns, Preston, and E.J. and Virginia McGuire, Pratt. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Deena Dutton, Macksville. His grandparents are Rita Miller and the late Maroon Miller, St. John, and the late Ira and Verna Dutton.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a gown of white duchesse satin, made with a halter neckline, split front and sweep train. A lace-up back was accented with beaded lace and a bright turquoise sash.
Dawn Franklin, Pratt, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Sloan, Colby, and Victoria Black, Pratt.
Cody Bevan, Denver, Colo., was the best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Grizzell, St. John, and John Rice, Stafford.
McCaiden Dwyer, Pratt, was the flower girl. Logan Skillet, nephew of the groom, Macksville, was the ring bearer. Organist Kris Deardoff, aunt of the bride, Brandon, S.D., and vocalist Jonathan Schotte, Preston, were musicians for the ceremony.
Kelsey Fisher, cousin of the bride, Fort Collins, Colo., attended the guest book. Taper lighters were Lindsey and Alesha Bergner, Pratt.
Vincent Engquist, cousin of the bride, McPherson, and Lyal Miller, cousin of the groom, St. John, were ushers.
The bride's parents hosted a reception at the Pratt Area 4-H Center. The couple circled the church and entered the reception in a 1924 Model T owned by the groom's grandparents, the late Ira and Rita Miller. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on Nov. 30 at St. Paul Lutheran Church basement.
After a wedding trip to San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas, the couple is at home at rural Macksville.
The bride graduated from Pratt High School, Pratt Community College and Fort Hays State University. She is employed at Straub Inc., Pratt. The groom graduated from Macksville High School and attended Barton Community College. He farms with Dutton Farms, Macksville.
