The post-season honors continue to accumulate for members of the Pratt High School softball team. After nine Lady Greenbacks were named to all-league teams by the Central Kansas League, four of those took it to the next level by being named 4A All-State by the Kansas Softball Coaches Association.
It was apparent throughout the season that Pratt High had one of the best batteries in Class 4A, and junior southpaw Brittnee Hill and her catcher, sophomore Savanah Buntemeyer, were each rewarded with unanimous selections to the 4A first team.
In addition, junior shortstop Lauren Rambat was tabbed as a 4A first team infielder, and junior outfielder Bailey Gillig was also named to the first team 4A.
With four first team all-4A players returning to the squad next year, PHS head coach Mike Forshee once again has a lot to look forward to.
