  • Charles "Charlie" Franklin Niblett, 69, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, due to complications to lung cancer.
    He was born Sept. 5, 1943 in Spiro, Okla., the son of James and Floy (Sullivan) Niblett. He was employed at the AMPI Milk Producers Incorporated for 30 years and was retired. He served in the US Navy from 1961-1964, and was honorably discharged.
    He married Judy Shifflett and to this union four children were born. They divorced in 1982. He then married D. Joyce Young. They had two children, and divorced in 1984. In 1985 he married Rosemary Cawthon and with her raised three children.
    He is survived by his wife Rosemary of Cullison; nine children, Virginia Grant (Robert), Liberal, Sharon Ann (fiance Jimmy), Hartford, Ark., James Niblett (Kristen), Cullison, William Niblett (Shelli), Stafford, Kenneth Niblett (Lacy) Preston, Joseph Niblett (Brandy), Wichita, Amanda Mullins (Brian), Blue Springs, Mo., Roger Heflin (Sandy), Marysville, Wash., and Tammy Southren, El Dorado; 24 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
    Visitation will be 9: a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the bortuary with Pastor Jim Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Cullison.
