A Pratt woman was injured Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Seventh and South Main.
Elaunda Vickery, 19 of Pratt, was southbound on Main driving a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo when Amanda Wade, 30 of Pratt, was eastbound on Seventh in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and attempted to make a left turn to go north on Main, said Pratt Police Officer James Ferbert.
Wade failed to yield to Vickery and the left front quarter panel of the Monte Carlo hit the driver's door of the Sonata causing air bags to deploy in both vehicles.
Pratt County EMS transported to Vickery to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Her condition is unavailable at this time.
Wade and her passenger Brandon Wade, 29 of Pratt, were not injured in the accident although Amanda was wearing a seatbelt but Brandon was not, Ferbert said.
Vickery had four passengers: 21-year-old Christopher Bumgartner, 19-year-old Samantha Ibarra, 2-year-old Kingston Vickery and 1-year-old Bently Vickery. All were restrained in either car seats or seat belts and none were transported to the hospital.
Everyone involved in the accident were from Pratt. The accident was reported at 3:48 p.m.
