The "jungle" is in full display during the month of July in the Pratt Community College Delmar Riney Art Gallery.
Palm trees, snakes, elephants and monkeys, as well as a variety of children's art projects and photographs from this summer's PCC Summer Music Theatre Camp are featured in the gallery. The camp is a project of PCC Performing Arts and also included two performances of Disney's "The Jungle Book" on June 21 and 22 in Carpenter Auditorium.
Under the direction of Misty Beck, drama and theatre instructor, close to 100 students from south central Kansas, ages four to 13, participated in the camp.
High school and college age "camp counselors" assisted with the camp and represented six school districts. During the camp, students played games, participated in arts and crafts and rehearsed for the show production.

The gallery has "come alive" with the jungle and the wonderful artwork from the children of South Central Kansas. Don't miss this "fun and very creative" exhibit, on display July 1–26. The Delmar Riney Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
