  • A Pratt woman was injured following a two-vehicle accident late Thursday afternoon in Pratt.
Beverly Whitney, 80 of Pratt, was southbound on Rochester in a 1997 Lincoln Town Car when she failed to yield at a stop sign at Third Street. She broadsided, on the passenger side, a westbound 2010 Ford F150 pickup driven by Sam Bailey, 84 of Pratt. The force of the impact spun the pickup around 180 degrees and it came to rest against the curb facing east while the Lincoln came to a stop facing southwest on the lawn in front of the scout cabin.
Pratt County EMS transported Whitney to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Her condition was unavailable. Bailey was not injured and both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident at 5:37 p.m.
