At the request of Pratt County Attorney Ken Van Blaricum, the Kansas Attorney General's Office has accepted the responsibility for prosecution in the Bryant Seba Case.
Seba was arrested July 24 in connection with a shooting incident in the 100 block of North Ninnescah, which claimed the life of Alexandria Duran and injured Brandon Wright.
Don Brown, director of communication for the attorney general's office said the case was still under review and no charges have been filed.
Seba's first court appearance is set for 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5 in Pratt County District Court. Criminal charges will be filed prior to Seba's first appearance, Brown said.
Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt confirmed today that Seba's bond has been set at $2 million.
Any criminal charges that arise from this case are merely accusations and anyone accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty, Brown said.
