The Kansas Bankers Association (KBA) is pleased to announce that Kelly Mason, chairman/CEO, First National Bank in Pratt, has been inducted as chairman-elect.

Mr. Mason was elected by his peers in an election held July 2013 and his term will run for one year. The president-elect plays a public role in representing the banking industry throughout the state of Kansas and works closely with the state and federal affairs committees.

Mason has been active in the KBA serving on the education committee as well as two previous terms on the board of directors in 1995 and again in 2009.

Mason earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance at Kansas State University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado. Kelly and his wife, Barb, have raised two children, Danny, who works at Community National Bank of Tonganoxie, and Sarah, who is a senior at Kansas State University. Kelly and Barb reside in Pratt.
